If you’re looking for a VPN service to enhance your streaming experience, VPNhub may be worth considering. It’s a rare free service that unblocks US Netflix and Disney+, making it a great option for users who want to access the geo-restricted content on their mobile devices.

However, it’s worth noting that VPNhub is not a viable option for streaming content from Hulu, HBO Max, or DAZN, and it lacks international servers, so British and European TV is off-limits. Moreover, it does not work with Amazon Prime Video, as the VPN is detected, and geo-restricted video content remains blocked. Additionally, as VPNhub lacks UK servers, users will be unable to access BBC iPlayer or other content from across the globe.

Can VPNhub Access US Netflix & Nine Other Regions?

According to VPNhub’s website, the service can unblock US Netflix. However, it is not clear whether VPNhub can unblock Netflix in other regions. In general, the ability of a VPN to unblock Netflix in specific regions may vary depending on several factors, including the specific Netflix region, the VPN’s server locations, and the VPN’s ability to bypass Netflix’s anti-VPN measures. Therefore, it is recommended to check with VPNhub’s customer support or to test the service’s ability to unblock Netflix in other regions before subscribing to the service.

Is VPNhub good for Lag-Free Gaming?

VPNhub’s free version may be okay for gaming, but only for US residents. This is because all of its free servers are located in the US, which means that users who live far away from the US may experience slower speeds and higher ping times, which can negatively impact their gaming experience. 

An acceptable ping for gaming is typically under 100ms, with an ideal range of 40-60ms. However, if the ping is higher than that, it can produce lag, making it difficult to play games smoothly.

Overall, while VPNhub may be suitable for some gaming purposes, its free version may not be the best choice for users who require low ping times and lag-free gaming experiences. Users who prioritize gaming performance may want to consider other VPNs that offer faster speeds, lower ping times, and a wider range of server locations.

VPNhub’s logging policy is not as privacy-oriented as many other VPN services. The VPN collects some device and usage information, including the user’s unique mobile ID, operating system and platform, browser type and version, and network information. Additionally, VPNhub collects the user’s IP address, although it is pseudonymized, encrypted, and deleted when the VPN session ends.

VPNhub also logs aggregated activity data, but none of it is linked to the user’s browsing history, and the user cannot be identified. So, it is a safe VPN.

For all you know, VPNhub could encrypt your data with PPTP, which VPNhub should retire as it’s very outdated at this point. However, when we connected to the support team, they told us that VPNhub uses IKEv2 protocol for iOS and OpenVPN for Android, whereas AES-256 encryption is used for the app.

Additionally, while VPNhub does offer a kill switch, its privacy policy is not ideal for torrenting. We caution against using VPNhub for torrenting on its US server, as its privacy policy means that your online activities may not be as secure or private as you would like.

VPNhub’s free version only offers one server location, which is based in the US. While the VPN claims to have over 500 city-level server locations in the US, users are unable to choose which city they connect to, as the VPN automatically assigns a new city location with each connection.

While having a large number of server locations is beneficial for reducing user congestion, the inability to select a specific server location can be a drawback for users who need to connect to a particular location for better performance or to access geo-restricted content.

Furthermore, VPNhub has confirmed that its service may not be available in several other countries with strict internet access laws, including Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Sudan, Syria, Burma, Qatar, and Egypt. As VPNhub’s servers are located in the United States, it may also face access limitations in countries like North Korea, Iran, and Cuba.
